20071125 Azura tour
I purchased the boat in September 2005, this is a mid construction tour of the cockpit and deck two years later, and what you don’t see is the chaos down below.

20110820 Nova Scotian Duck Toller behavior
My brother’s adopted mutt turned out to be a special breed of hunting dog. As we cruised up the Maine coast strangers would ask “is that a Toller?”. The internet showed identical looking dogs with identical behavior.

20110825 Azura in 20 kts in Maine
Two days before Hurricane Irene was forecasted to hit Maine I decided that we had to move South so that the crew could get off and I could put the boat on a friend’s sheltered mooring. Things started nicely.

20110825 Azura in 30 kts in Maine
The wind picked up and by late morning we are doing 8 kts into 8 foot seas. The crew is queasy and we are all getting wet. The boat did great under double reefs but we didn’t drop the hook at Cliff Island until 8PM.

20110831 Dave Willis and the whale
On a flat calm day we left the Isles of Shoals bound for Provincetown and spotted several whales. This one was right beside the boat.

20111016 Azura in 25 kts in Narragansett Bay
My friend Shel Sheldon is at the helm as we fly around Aquidneck Island in Narragansett Bay. My comment “try to pass that lobster boat pulling traps” is a joke. In the last scene we are under power with the main up.
